Building practical cloud and infrastructure skills with real hands-on lab work.

I’m an IT and cloud-focused job seeker with a background in leadership, training, and team support. I’ve earned AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, and CompTIA Security+ certifications. I've also completed TryHackMe SAL1 training and built an AWS + Kubernetes lab project to strengthen my real-world infrastructure skills.

About Me

My background includes leadership and operations experience where I regularly supported teams, trained new hires, improved performance, and solved problems under pressure. As I transition deeper into IT, cloud, and infrastructure-focused work, I’m bringing that same mindset with me: be dependable, keep learning, and contribute wherever the team needs help. In my free time I enjoy being with my family, and if I'm not with them you will probably find me rock climbing!

What I bring

Strong ownership, a calm approach to troubleshooting, and the ability to learn new systems quickly.

What I enjoy

Cloud platforms, Linux, security concepts, deployment workflows, and understanding how systems fit together.

What I’m looking for

Junior cloud, DevOps, infrastructure, IT operations, or security-adjacent roles where I can grow and contribute.

Featured Project

This project was built to demonstrate real initiative, hands-on problem solving, and an ability to take a cloud deployment from idea to a working public-facing result.

Cloud IT Lab — AWS + Kubernetes Deployment

A containerized application deployed to AWS with lightweight Kubernetes, public ingress, DNS, and automated TLS.

AWS EC2 Docker k3s NGINX Ingress cert-manager

What I built

  • Deployed a containerized web application on AWS EC2 using Docker and k3s.
  • Configured NGINX Ingress Controller to expose services through a custom domain.
  • Implemented DNS routing and adjusted security groups to allow public access.
  • Integrated cert-manager with Let’s Encrypt for automated TLS certificates.
  • Built a live status dashboard showing API, database, environment, and version indicators.

What I learned

  • How containerization and orchestration fit together in a practical deployment.
  • How ingress, DNS, TLS, and cloud networking interact.
  • How to troubleshoot issues involving ports, image import, routing, and certificate validation.
  • How to use Linux, kubectl, and system tooling to verify and maintain services.

Experience Highlights

Leadership & Team Support

I have experience with onboarding team members, improving workflow, supporting performance, and serving as a reliable point of contact.

Training & Development

I have helped prepare others to think critically, follow processes, and perform more effectively in day-to-day operations. In a previous role, I helped increase productivity KPI by up to 75% with creative problem solving!

Self-Directed Technical Growth

I have pursued certifications, lab work, and security training independently to build a stronger foundation in cloud and IT.
